Space Industry Authority to meet by zoom

The Oklahoma Space Industry Development Authority plans a meeting by Zoom on Wednesday.

During the 1:30 p.m. meeting, board members will get updates on commercial spaceflight news as well as facility maintenance repairs.

Staff members will also review the status of the agency’s Joint Use Agreement that allows Vance Air Force base to use the Oklahoma Air and Spaceport for pilot training. Under the agreement, the Space Industry Authority receives more than $1 million a year to provide upkeep of the airfield.
