Energy firm contends Oklahoma is best suited for Tesla plant

 

The head of Tulsa-based Francis Energy contends Oklahoma offers more opportunities than any other state to become home for a new Tesla truck-manufacturing site.

It’s what David Jankowsky is telling the Tulsa World, saying the state is ready to become the electric vehicle capital of the world.

“It is at our fingertips,” he told the newspaper, explaining Oklahoma has cheap land, inexpensive utilities, a strong workforce and the EV infrastructure necessary for Oklahomans to drive the vehicles once they leave the assembly line.
