Crude continues in positive territory in US

 

Crude oil prices in the U.S. rose again in Tuesday’s trading as West Texas Intermediate crude rose 68 cents and settled up 2% at $32.50 a barrel in trading on the New York Mercantile Exchange.

But Brent Crude, the international benchmark fell 27 cents and finished at $34.54 a barrel in trading on the ICE futures.

Natural gas rose a nickle and finished Tuesday’s trading on the NYMEX at $1.83 per million BTU, a drop of nearly 3%.

SandRidge Energy, after announcing the sale of its headquarters tower this week fell 13 cents Tuesday, a decline of more than 8% as shares settled at $1.44 each.

Chesapeake Energy was down 52 cents and finished at $11.97 a share, a drop of more than 4%. ConocoPhillips  was down 93 cents and ended the day’s session at $42.67, a decline of more than 2%.

Devon Energy dropped 81 cents and settled at $12.31, a decline of 6.18%. EOG Resources was down $1.78 to finish at $50.66 while Marathon Oil declined 26 cents and ended the day at $5.82, for a drop of 4.2%.

ONEOK added four cents to settle at $35.11 while Phillips 66 dropped $1.06 and ended the day at $75.22.

American Electric Power fell $2.74 and finished the day at $77.14, a drop of 3.4%.
