Colorado regulators start probe of shortened life span of coal fired power plant

 

Colorado regulators have started an investigation into how the state’s newest coal plant, one opened 10 years ago in Pueblo, now stands a chance of being closed in 10 years.

Originally, Comanche 3, a coal-burning unit was supposed to have a life span lasting until 2070. Now there’s public doubt it will continue according to Mountain Town News.
