OK legislature not meeting this week

It’ll be quiet in the halls of the Oklahoma Capitol this week after the legislature decided against meeting in response to the spread of the coronavirus.

At least one State Senate staffer was confirmed positive with COVID 19 last week and as a result the Senate underwent testing.

At the same time, the State House amended its rules to allow for emergency “proxy” voting.
