EOG Resources finds success in the SCOOP

 

Oklahoma’s SCOOP has yielded three single-pad wells producing more than 1,600 barrels of oil a day for Houston-based EOG Resources Inc.

The company filed completion reports this week for three Candi 1411 wells at 23 8N 4W, a site located two miles northeast of the city of Blanchard in McClain County.

Each had a spud date in July of 2019 and Candi 1411 2H produced 354 barrels of oil a day along with 485 Mcf of natural gas from a depth and length of 19,838 feet according to its completion report. All three wells were drilled in the Woodford formation and completed in January 2020.

The second well, Candi 1411 3H produced 631 barrels of oil daily and 625 Mcf of natural gas. Its completion report showed a drilling length and depth of 18,927 feet.

The third well, Candi 1411 4H produced 623 barrels of oil a day and 687 Mcf of natural gas from a depth and length of 19,628 feet, according to its completion report.

Oklahoma County provided more drilling success for Revolution Resources LLC, a firm with lease holdings at the north edge of Oklahoma City. Two Caracol 1404 wells drilled from a single pad at 9 14N 4W or 7 miles north of the Kilpatrick Turnpike and just west of State highway 74 had combined production of more than 1,000 barrels of oil a day.

The first well, according to its completion report produced 460 barrels of oil daily and 310 Mcf of gas from a depth and length of 11,911 feet in the Hunton formation. It had a December 2019 spud date with completion made in January 2020.

The second Caracol well produced 631 barrels of oil a day and 370 Mcf of natural gas from a depth and length of 13,051 feet. The completion report showed the well was completed in January 2020.

A second two-well single-pad site for Revolution Resources had combined total production of 854 barrels of oil a day. Drilled only a few miles from the Caracol well site at 32 14N 4W, the Tormund 1404 wells had 671 barrels of oil a day production from one well and 183 on the second well. Both were drilled in the Hunton formation with completions made in December 2019 and from a depth and length of more than 16,700 feet.
