Report reminds us of slumping oil and gas gross production tax revenue

The latest edition of the Oklahoma Economic Report published by State Treasurer Randy McDaniel offers a review of use tax collections in Oklahoma and a reminder of how gross production taxes on oil and gas are dropping.

As OK Energy Today has previously reported, the gross production taxes generated more than $88 million in January, which was a decline of $11.8 million or 11.8 percent from January of 2019.
