Oklahoma will get more than $16 million in federal emergency money from the U.S. Department of Transportation because of flood damage over the past few years.
It is part of $653 million in USDOT emergency funding to make road and bridge repairs.
Oklahoma will get $7,047,846 to repair damage caused by storms and flooding from April 28 to May 2 of 2017.
Another $5 million will be funded for damage from storms and flooding from April 30 to June 29 of last year.
A payment of $4,080,450 will help with repairs caused by flooding from March to June 2019 on federal lands in the state.
