Regulators to hold hearing on unallocated Oklahoma gas wells

State regulators in Oklahoma plan a hearing this month to consider a new proration formula for unallocated gas wells.

The Technical Services Department of the Corporation Commission’s Oil and Gas Conservation Division will hold the hearing on Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2020 at 10 a.m.  The Department is seeking input on the staff’s proposed statewide proration formula.

 

“Commission Order No. 701073 which issued in Cause CD No. 201903778 established the statewide proration formula for unallocated gas wells for the period of October 1, 2019, through March 31, 2020. An application and notice of hearing will be filed with the Commission’s Court Clerk’s Office subsequent to the January 21, 2020, meeting, and the application will be set for hearing before the Commissioners during February, 2020, to establish the statewide proration formula for unallocated gas wells during the period of April 1, 2020, through September 30, 2020,” stated the announcement by the Department.
