More producing wells are reported in Oklahoma

The latest completion reports from the Oklahoma Corporation Commission show Newfield Exploration Mid-Con Inc. found more producing wells in Kingfisher, one of the main counties in the STACK play.

The company had two wells on a single pad at 13 16N 9W or about 10 miles west of the city of Kingfisher. Combined production on the two Smith Brothers 1609 wells was 427 barrels of oil a day. A third Smith Brothers 1609 well was drilled at 12 16N 9W which is the section due north of the two other wells. Its production was 439 barrels of oil a day along with 1,390 Mcf of natural gas.

All three wells were completed in May 2019 at depths of 19,455; 19,166 and 18,950 feet. Newfield also reported completion of a smaller-producing well in Blaine County at 3 14N 13W.

Fourpoint Energy LLC continued being active in Ellis County in western Oklahoma as it completed two West Hog wells southwest of Arnett and not far from the state line.

The well located at 30 19N 25W had production of 235 barrels of oil a day and 524 Mcf of gas. The well completed at 24 19N 26W had production of 609 barrels of oil a day and 867 Mcf of natural gas.

Mewbourne Oil Co. also completed a well in Ellis County with production of 157 barrels of oil a day and 87 Mcf of natural gas. The site is at 11 19N 26W.

SK Nemaha LLC completed two wells on a single pad in Garfield County. The Betty wells, located at 33 20N 6W had combined production of 819 barrels of oil a day.
