How wind power helped a Kansas town rebuild after a deadly tornado

Renewable energy played a significant role in the rebuilding of Greensburg, Kansas, a town of 1,400 literally destroyed by a tornado in 2007.

A dozen years later, the town is thriving, thanks in large part to assistance from the U.S. Department of Energy and wind-supplied electricity.
