Imagine an oil well with daily production of more than 10,000 barrels a day.

It’s in North Dakota where the An-Bohmbach 153-94-2734H-8 well had production of 10,626 barrels of oil a day after completion was made by Hess Corp.

Reports show the well’s production is out of the Middle Bakken interval at 11.084 feet to 20,749 feet. The true vertical depth of the Antelope Field well was 10,749 while the total horizontal depth came to 20,749 feet.

The well is located in McKenzie County, the largest oil producing county in North Dakota. There are an estimated 4,500 wells within 30 miles of Watford City located in western North Dakota.
