Custer County in western Oklahoma proved to be a successful site for the Dallas exploration firm Excalibur Resources LLC as it drilled two gas wells on a single pad ending up with more than 22,000 Mcf of natural gas production.
The two Bedivere wells, drilled at 33 15N 14W were completed in April 2019 at a site about 3 miles east of the town of Thomas. One had an October 30, 2018 spud date and the other spud date was November 1, 2018.
Production on one well was 17,104 Mcf of natural gas and the second well had production of 5,292 Mcf of gas. Drilling depths were 21,762 feet on one well and 20,688 feet on the second well.
