Well reports show aggressiveness of Chaparral Energy

Oklahoma City’s Chaparral Energy LLC reports no letup in its drilling program in the STACK where it filed still more completion reports of wells this week.

The company filed reports on 4 wells in Garfield County including 3 on a single pad at 12 21N 6W or about 3 miles southeast of the city of Enid. The Sequoia and Bonzai wells had combined oil production of 451 barrels a day.

Chaparral also had another well completed in Kingfisher County where last week it filed reports on 11 wells on 3 separate pads in the county. The latest well, drilled at 34 19 17W or about 2 miles south of Hennessey was another Hennessey Unit well.

The company’s filings last week included 7 other Hennessey Unit wells. Four wells drilled at 33 19N 7W or 2 miles west of Hennessey had combined production of 1,491 barrels of oil a day. Three other Hennessey Unit wells drilled on a single pad a mile south of Hennessey at 36 19N 7W had production of 778 barrels of oil a day.
