KC pipeline company considers offer to go ‘private’

A proposal has been made to take the Kansas City-based pipeline company, Tallgrass Energy, LP private. The company’s board of directors announced it had received a non-binding preliminary proposal from Blackstone Infrastructure Partners, its partners and respective affiliates. Fight brewing over Enbridge’s proposed shipping contracts in Canada

Canadian Natural Resources Ltd, the country’s biggest oil producer, has joined a number of other firms asking Canada’s energy regulator to intervene in Enbridge Inc’s plan to overhaul shipping contracts on its Mainline pipeline network. Newfield wraps up $165 million sale of gas assets in Arkoma Basin

Encana Corporation’s wholly owned subsidiary, Newfield Exploration Mid-Continent Inc., closed on its previously announced  $165 million sale of its natural gas assets in Oklahoma’s Arkoma Basin. Proceeds from the sale will be used to reduce the Company’s debt.
