Small quakes shake several regions of Oklahoma

Minor earthquakes continue to cause shaking throughout Oklahoma with one of the latest to be recorded Monday near Tuttle.

It was a 2.2 magnitude quake with a depth of about 3.5 miles, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The quake’s epicenter was about 4 miles southeast of Tuttle and reported around 7:46 in the morning.

At least 7 other earthquakes were recorded in Oklahoma on Sunday. The strongest was 2.8 magnitude near Holdenville. The initial reading put the magnitude at 3.2.

Others occurred near Helena, Perry, Lindsay, Cherokee, Alva and Sand Springs.
