Schlumberger hopes to rebound from drop in 1Q earnings in Oklahoma and the rest of North America

With major operations throughout Oklahoma, Schlumberger Limited plans to release its second quarter earnings report in July. Leaders hope to see a reversal of downward trends reported in North America earlier in the year.

The French-based company stated it will hold a conference call July 19 to discuss the results for the second quarter ending June 30, 2019. The call will begin at 7:30 a.m. Central Time.

The first quarter financial results announced in April showed Schlumberger had worldwide revenue of $7.9 billion, down 4 percent from the previous quarter but up one percent from the prior year.

North America revenue which included operations in Oklahoma totaled $2.7 billion. It was down 3 percent from the 4th quarter of 2018 and the same decline was recorded when compared to the previous year.
