Oklahoman moves up quickly in 4-year old midstream company

Three years after leaving Williams Cos. and Access Midstream, Brett Baker has been promoted at San Antonio’s Stakeholder Midstream LLC to be the firm’s chief commercial officer.

The graduate of Southwestern Oklahoma State University joined Stakeholder’s commercial team in the summer of 2016 as director of business development and was quickly promoted to vice president.

He previously was senior commercial development representative at Williams Companies and Access Midstream where he was responsible for contract negotiations and commercial relationships for Oklahoma, Texas and Louisiana midstream gathering assets.

At Stakeholder, Baker lead the origination of gas gathering, treating and processing projects and crude gathering projects which have resulted in acreage dedications of more than 200,000 acres to the natural gas and crude oil systems.

Stakeholder is currently focused on the San Andres play in Yoakum, Cochran and Gaines counties in Texas and Lea County, New Mexico. The company was founded in 2015.
