Lakes brimming with floodwaters in Oklahoma

Lakes all over Oklahoma are being hit with floodwaters following heavy rains in the past week to 10 days. Most lakes are reporting higher elevations including Kaw Lake in northern Oklahoma where the level is 21 feet higher than normal.

Floodwaters are being released in massive amounts from the Lake Altus-Lugert.

In the northeast, Keystone Lake is 16 feet higher while Waurika is 3 feet higher than normal.

The Salt Plains lake is up 5 feet  while Hugo Lake in the southeast is 16 feet higher.

In Southern Oklahoma, Texoma Lake is up 9 feet.
