Does Biden have a conflict of interest involving a former board member at Cheniere Energy?

Democratic presidential hopeful Joe Biden came out Friday with word that he’s in the process of creating a “middle ground” climate policy to restore Obama-era environmental protections and to rejoin the Paris Climate Agreement.

But the investigative website Sludge discovered Biden has an apparent conflict of interest and it involves someone who sat on the board of a company that has extensive operations in Oklahoma’s STACK and SCOOP plays.

Sludge found that former Obama adviser Heather Zichal sat on Cheniere’s board of directors and is now an ‘informal adviser’ to Biden on climate change.
