Continental Resources has brought in another big producer in Blaine County, one with more than 1,700 barrels of oil a day in production.
The Tolbert Federal 5-32-29XHM sits right in the STACK play and in the same zone near Greenfield where Continental Resources has seen huge success. Located at 5 14N 11W, the well site is on the immediate west side of the small community and next to highway US 270.
Production records indicate its production is not only 1,722 barrels of oil a day, but 22,651 Mcf of natural gas. The well had an October 2018 spud date and drilling finished in January of 2019. Completion was made March 27, 2019 after the company used 410,022 barrels of fluid and 20,892,898 pounds of sand.
Continental Resources has drilled in the Greenfield community and has previous large wells.
