Alliance Resource to release earnings April 29

Alliance Resource Partners, L.P., one of the largest coal mining companies in the U.S. plans to release its first quarter 2019 financial results on April 29.

The release by the Tulsa-based company will be made before the markets open on that Monday. Company management will discuss the results during a conference call at 9 a.m. Central Time on the same day.

Alliance not only operates coal mines in Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland and West Virginia, but also has oil and gas mineral interest holdings in the Anadarko, Permian, Williston and Appalachian basins.

The company reported a more than 11 percent increase in revenues for 2018 and attributed it to record coal sales volumes and higher coal sales prices.  Total revenues came to $2 billion while net income for the company totaled $366.6 million for the 2018 year, an increase of nearly 21 percent from 2017.
