Where are the nation’s most distracted drivers?

Whether it is another self-promoting study or not, a new study shows which cities have the most distracted drivers and none are in Oklahoma. But if you’re heading to Dallas, watch out!

But Life360, a sharing app that protects and connects families said its driving study showed drivers in Dallas/Ft. Worth, Atlanta, Washington, DC, Baltimore and Houston are the most distracted in the country. The company leverage more than 84 billion miles of driving data in a national sample and found that distracted driving is more prevalent in the East.

Least Distracted:

  • San Diego, CA
  • San Francisco, CA
  • Seattle, WA
  • Los Angeles, CA
  • Phoenix, AZ

The study also found rush hour driving is more distracting than morning commutes. And for the second year in a row, there is little gap between teen and adult distracted drivers.

The West Coast had the least distracted drivers. But Wyoming and New Mexico drivers are the least distracted.
