A Texas investment firm reports disposing of nearly 6 million shares it had in Oklahoma City’s Chesapeake Energy Corporation.
In a filing with the Securities Exchange Commission, Chesapeake Energy reported the sale of 5,913,736 shares by investor NGP Energy Capital Management, LLC based in Irving, Texas.
Prices received for the shares ranged from $3.26 to $3.31. The sales occurred on March 20 and 21, 2019.
SEC documents indicated that NGP Energy Capital Management still owns more than 612 million shares in Chesapeake Energy.
