Devon Energy SEC filing shows acquisition of shares

A filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission by Oklahoma City’s Devon Energy shows the acquisition of more shares by one board member.

Director Robert H. Henry acquired 11,651 shares, according to the SEC document. Each share was valued at $30.01 and the acquisition was made Feb. 27, 2019. It gives him a total of 21,355 shares in the company.

Henry has been a member of Devon’s board of directors since the summer of 2010. He was the Oklahoma Attorney General until his appointment in 2010 to the U.S. 10th Circuit Court of Appeals in Denver. Henry resigned from the appeals court to become the president of Oklahoma City University, a post he held until his retirement last year.
