Democrats to hold another climate hearing

Oklahoma Congressman Markwayne Mullin and other Republicans on the House Energy and Commerce Committee have an idea where Democrats want to go when another hearing is held Tuesday. The nation’s climate.

This time, the Democratic leadership of the 55-member committee wants to explore what it calls “wasted energy.”

The hearing is entitled “Wasted Energy: DOE’s Inaction on Efficiency Standards and Its Impact on Consumers and the Climate.”

The committee has yet to indicate who might testify during the hearing.

The hearing will start at 10 a.m. Eastern Time.
