Two Blaine County wells are big producers for Continental Resources

Oklahoma City’s Continental Resources scored big on two wells in Blaine County in recent months. Completion on one was more than 2,800 barrels of oil a day while the second brought in more than 1,600 Boed.

Reports filed with the Oklahoma Corporation Commission showed the two Homsey wells were drilled at the same site about 4 miles northeast of the community of Greenfield. Both wells are located at 22 15N 11W in the County.

The Homsey 4-22-27xhm was drilled first with a May 21, 2018 spud date. Drilling was finished in July and the well was completed in October 2018 with 2,813 Boed along with 11,073 Mcf of natural gas.

The Homsey 5-22-27xhm had a spud date of May 23, 2018. Drlling finished in August and completion was made in October 2018. It had initial production of 1,639 Boed along with 3,670 Mcf of gas.
