Tulsa’s major coal-mining company, Alliance Resource Partners, L.P. plans to make its fourth quarter 2018 financial results available on Monday, Jan. 28, 2019.
The release will be made prior to the opening of markets. Alliance management will discuss the results during a conference call at 9 a.m. central time on the same day.
The company has eight mining complexes that it operates in Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland and West Virginia.
It recently expanded its oil and gas holdings in Oklahoma’s STACK and SCOOP plays and has others in the Permian, Williston and Appalachian basins.
The firm’s 3rd quarterly report showed net income up more than 20% at $73.7 million compared to $61.3 million for the three months that ended Sept. 30, 2017. Strong coal sales volumes in the quarter drove total revenues higher to $497.8 million, a 9.8% increase compared to the 2017 quarter.
