Phillips 66 Partners enters agreement to build new oil pipeline in Louisiana

Phillips 66 Partners and others involved in a new pipeline in Louisiana are trying to attract more customers.

Working with Harvest Midstream Company and PBF Logistics LP, the firms have entered into an agreement to jointly develop the ACE Pipeline System.

The line will provide crude oil transportation service from the market hub in St. James, Louisiana to downstream refining destinations in Belle Chasse, Meraux and Chalmette, Louisiana.

The line will be capable for moving 400,000 barrels a day. The companies intend to have it in service in the second half of 2020.

As a result, an open season began this week for transportation service on the ACE Pipeline System.
