Chesapeake Energy management unloads some of their company shares

Several of the members of the management team at Oklahoma City’s Chesapeake Energy who made large purchases of stock in the past several weeks have sold some of those shares for more than $700,000.

A company filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission showed President and Chief Executive Officer Robert D. Lawler disposed of 95,883 valued at $2.73 each for a total $261,760. He still owns 4,310,318 shares in Chesapeake.

Domenic J.  Dell’Osso Jr.,  Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer disposed of 59,838 shares valued at $163,357. It left him with 1,4569,091 shares in the company.

James R. Webb, Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary sold 23,872 shares for $65,170. Each share was valued at $2.73 and according to the SEC filing, Webb still owns 955,991 shares in the company.

Chesapeake’s Executive Vice President of Operations and Technical Services, M. Jason Pigott sold $151,676 in shares. He disposed of 55,559 shares and still owns 1,039,980 shares in Chesapeake.

The SEC filing also indicated Frank J. Patterson, Executive Vice President of Exploration and Production sold 23,837 shares for a total of $65,075. He still owns 847,854 shares.
