Another Chesapeake Energy filing with SEC

Another filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission has been made by Chesapeake Energy of Oklahoma City—one regarding the power of attorney for BlackRock Inc. of New York.

BlackRock’s amended filing revoked a Power of Attorney dated Dec.8, 2015 and created a new one for the global investment management corporation.

The Form SC 13G/A was filed Jan. 10. BlackRock Inc owns 10.2% of Chesapeake Shares and has a sole voting power of more than 89 million shares in common stock.
