More productive wells in the STACK

Oklahoma’s STACK play has seen no decline whatsoever in the number of productive wells.

The Oct. 8 filing of daily completion reports from the Oklahoma Corporation Commission show some of the majors continue to hit producing wells.

Continental Resources Inc. and Devon Energy Production Co. LP had hits in Blaine County.  Two for Continental and one for Devon.

Devon Energy also had a well in Canadian County as did Newfield Exploration Mid-Con Inc.

Newfield also had another successful well in Kingfisher County. And it was the  third Wittrock well on a pad midway between Watonga and Kingfisher. Located at 16 16N 9W, the well had production of 827 Boed. Nothing to maybe not write home about in terms of large producers, but the two other Wittrock wells drilled from the same pad had production of 878 and 516 Boed.

OK Energy Today made mention Oct. 2 of the two previous wells which were part of Newfield Energy’s growing success throughout the STACK and the SCOOP plays.
