Marathon Oil Company is one of the latest to report a large-producing well in Oklahoma’s STACK.
A completion report on file this week showed the Siegrist 1307 1-9MH well (9 13N 7W) in Canadian County produced more than 1,100 barrels of oil a day when it was completed in late May.
The well, located approximately 1.5 miles north of the Lucky Star Casino and on the east side of Highway 81 had initial production of 1,146 Boed along with 1,645 Mcf of natural gas.
The well was spudded in January of 2018 and drilling was finished Feb. 8. Completion was made May 25 with actual production a month later.
Marathon, based in Houston also reported two completed wells this week in Kingfisher county with significant production.
