Keystone XL pipeline enters 2nd decade of construction efforts

Hard to believe but efforts to complete the Keystone XL pipeline are entering their second decade.

That’s right. It was more than a decade ago when TransCanada first applied to build the pipeline to carry tar sands oil from Alberta, Canada to the Texas Gulf Coast.

A lot has happened in the oil and gas industry since then, including the collapse of Venezuelan production and the increase of US light sweet output.
