Casillas reports large well in Garvin County

Tulsa’s Casillas Operating LLC reports one of its wells drilled late last year in Oklahoma’s Garvin county ended up with more than 1,000 barrels of oil a day in production.

The Whitney 1-27-22mxh, (27 4N 4W) according to a completion report released on Sept. 27 had initial production of 1,080 Boed along with 2,346 Mcf of natural gas.

The well is located about 3 miles due south of Lindsay, where Casillas Operating also has a field office.

The well was spudded in September of 2017. Drilling was finished in mid-October 2017 and the completion was made Oct. 21, 2017 followed by initial production in November.

While the well is located in south central Oklahoma, Casillas also has invested in more exploration in the STACK play of Oklahoma.

In addition to the Lindsay field office, Casillas Operating has field offices in Nash, Oklahoma and Satanta, Kansas. Its current assets exceed 1,000 producing wells within 5 states in the Mid-Continent Region.
