Stillwater Tech firm capitalizing on transportation industry

A Stillwater firm is taking truck transportation into the computer age and making money off it.

As The Oklahoman reported this week, Quest RTS, a firm founded by Tony Payne, is helping trucking companies automate their dispatching operations.

Payne developed new software called Land Traffic Control, a system that provides digital alerts to drivers through mobile devices.

Quest RTS was founded in 2017. RTS stands for Remote Technical Services. The year old company is a sister to the original firm called Quest Technical Services founded in 2013.

For the past year, Quest RTS has been based at the business incubator on the campus of the Meridian Technology Center. Payne describes it as a collegial atmosphere in which he can bounce ideas and challenges off fellow entrepreneurs located nearby.
