Enable Midstream considers possible office move in OKC

The Oklahoman’s Steve Lackmeyer, the reporter with an ear always close to business dealings in downtown Oklahoma City is reporting Enable Midstream might be making a move of its headquarters.

The company is located in Leadership Square and might move its 480-person headquarters to the 27-story BOK Park Plaza. The plaza was recently opened and is managed by Hines, a firm which recently sent an email notifying Bank of Oklahoma employees of the possible move.

Hines indicated that 500 spaces in the BOK Park Plaza garages would be reserved in the next two weeks for Enable Midstream.  Until then, Enable employees will continue parking at the Santa Fe garage.

Lackmeyer indicated Hines representatives would not comment on the email or the leasing activity.

“Enable’s current lease at Leadership Square expires next year, and we have been thoroughly evaluating all options available to us in downtown Oklahoma City, including remaining at Leadership Square,” said David Klaassen, a spokesman for Enable. “One of those options is BOK Park Plaza. Additionally, we are evaluating our employee parking options,to see which is best for Enable.”

Enable Midstream is the anchor tenant at Leadership Square and occupies eight floors. While the firm has 1,800 workers across Oklahoma, most are located inn other metro locations with 480 at Leadership Square.
