Former HollyFrontier Leader’s Death Reported in Dallas

 

The former chief executive officer of HollyFrontier Corporation in Dallas has died and is being remembered by the company which he ran for nearly 30 years.

Lamar Norsworthy was a director from 1967 to 2007 and served as CEO from 1971 to 2005. He was President from 1971 to 1977 and Chairman of the board from 1977 through the end of 2005.

Norsworthy retired in 2007 after development of an illness

Lamar’s contributions to HollyFrontier are part of the fabric of our company now and thankfully will remain with us in the years to come.”

HollyFrontier owns refineries in Tulsa and in El Dorado, Kansas as well as storage units in New Mexico, Wyoming and Utah.
