When it comes to working at one of the 500 best U.S. companies declared by Forbes in 2018, employees of Michelin Group have bragging rights.
So do workers at some energy companies according to the recently-released list drawn up by Forbes.
Energy firms on the list include NRG Energy headquartered in New Jersey, a company ranked number 7 on the the list of America’s Best Employers.
Consumers Energy based in Jackson, Michigan was ranked 43 while Dallas-based Energy Transfer was given a 60 ranking.
Virginia’s Dominion Energy was ranked number 79.
Forbes partnered with market research company Statista to identify the companies liked best by employees with our annual ranking of America’s best employers. The ranking is divided into two lists: one for the top large companies with more than 5,000 U.S. employees, and another for the top midsize companies with 1,000 to 5,000.
Of the top midsize companies, Houston’s Noble Energy was ranked 19
During the selection process, nearly 30,000 employees at companies with at least 1,000 people in their U.S. operations were asked to rate their own employer and their likelihood of recommending their employer to a friend or family member. They were also asked to recommend other companies they admired.
