Murphy Oil in El Dorado, Arkansas announced this week the election of Louis W. Utsch to be Vice President of Tax by the board of Directors.
He succeeds Tim Butler who is retiring from the company.
Utsch joined the company in January as Senior Tax Director. He has more than 20 years of experience at Big Four accounting firms and more than a decade of work in the oil and natural gas industry.
Utsch also comes to Murphy with Fortune 1000 Global experience and has led tax compliance and tax provision efforts for Fortune 500 companies.
