Longtime Former Lobbyist for OAEC Dies

 

A former El Reno legislator who later became a spokesman for the Oklahoma Association of Electric Cooperatives, Harold Hale died this week.

Before serving as Director of Legislative and Regulatory Affairs for the OAEC, Hale was a member of the State House of Representatives from District 3 and served from 1981 to 1990. After leaving the legislature, he spent 17 years with the OAEC

Hale was 81.

A memorial service is planned for Friday, Feb. 16 at 10 a.m. at the Redlands Community College campus in El Reno.
