One of the top executives at Murphy Oil Corporation in El Dorado, Arkansas is retiring after 28 years with the company.
John W. Eckart, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer plans to retire later this year. The company has started a search to find a successor.
He joined the company in 1990 as Auditing Manager and became CFO in 2015.
“On behalf of the company, I want to thank John for his many years of service and wish him all the best in retirement. John has provided sound strategic advice and guidance in managing the financial affairs of the company, and his contributions will be greatly missed,” stated Roger Jenkins, President and Chief Executive Officer.
