Major County Site of Big Chesapeake Energy Well

One of the largest wells to be drilled in weeks in northwest Oklahoma was in Major County.

The Bravo 28-20-12 1HC well drilled by Chesapeake Operating LLC has produced of 1,760 barrels a day according to the latest reports from the Oklahoma Corporation Commission and published by OK Energy Today.

Located about 4 miles northeast of the small community of Longdale and also northeast of Lake Canton, the well had a spud date of July 20, 2017. Drilling was finished Aug. 13, 2017 and completion was made Sept. 25, 2017. But the report was just made available showing production is out of the Mississippi Solid formation.
