Koch Brothers Might See Better Relationship With Trump White House

The Koch brothers gave some indication over the weekend they have settled into something of a working relationship with the Trump White House.

At the powerful political network run by brothers Charles and David Koch, founders of the Wichita, Kansas-based Koch Company they gave such an appearance at their semiannual retreat held in Indian Wells, California.

They even offered praise for the newly-implemented corporate tax changes with Tim Phillips, President of the Koch-backed nonprofit Americans for Prosperity calling the passage “a transformative event” according to Politico.

Oklahoma readers might remember Americans for Prosperity is the Koch-created group that had email communication with Scott Pruitt when he was Oklahoma Attorney General. Those emails led to various political charges against Pruitt when he became the Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency.

The political web magazine noted several Koch network leaders expressed “optimism about working with the White House in the year ahead.”

What remains to be seen is their reaction when President Trump delivers his state of the union address this week and what he might offer on DACA, the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program.
