Former Iowa Governor Turns Wind Energy Efforts into Lobbying Job

As the governor of Iowa from 2007 to 2011, Chet Culver was credited with development of his state’s renewable energy efforts.

Now he’s going to work doing lobbying work with a Washington, D-C based energy company.  Culver has joined Green Generation Solutions LLC as a senior advisor to “enhance and augment the firm’s work in the public sector.”

As Governor of Iowa, he created the Iowa Office of Energy Independence and the Iowa Power Fund, a $100 million investment by the state in public and private partnerships for renewable energy projects.
