Xcel Energy Switching to Nasdaq

Minnesota-based Xcel Energy Inc., the company with 210 miles of transmission lines in Oklahoma is transferring its stock exchange listing from the New York Stock Exchange to the Nasdaq Global Select Market.
The move will be effective Dec. 29 after the close of the markets.
Xcel Energy shares are expected to begin trading as a Nasdaq-listed security on Jan. 2, 2018.
The company will keep its current ticker symbol “XEL”.
The company provides power to millions of homes and businesses across eight Western and Midwestern states.
It’s Oklahoma operations no longer provide service to retail customers but include 210 miles of 345 kilovolt and 115 kV transmission lines and facilities.
