OIPA Hosts Lunch and Learn Cyber Security Event on October 17

The Oklahoma Independent Petroleum Association will host a free Lunch and Learn event on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the OIPA Headquarters located at 500 N.E. 4th Street in Oklahoma City.

OIPA Partner Alias Forensics and FBI Special Agent Richard Lay will discuss the current cyber security issues threatening the oil and gas industry and actions that businesses can take to better combat these rising threats.

Additional topics to be discussed include:

• Examples of real-life attacks and scams currently targeting the oil and gas industry.
• Real-world data breach incident examples and case studies.
• Emerging industry best practices for being proactive against these types of threats.
