Update to Bar Association Probe of Scott Pruitt

A correction to our recent story about the State Bar Association’s investigation of Scott Pruitt, the former Oklahoma Attorney General who is now the Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency.

The probe was initiated based on an original complaint filed by Kristen van de Biezenbos and The Center for Biological Diversity in March of this year.  At the time, van de Biezenbos was a professor at the University of Oklahoma School of Law.

But she is no longer with the School of Law, according to Stacey Reynolds, Director of Continuing Legal Education and Events at the OU College of Law.

Our updated story concerned the efforts of Rhode Island U.S. Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse (D) to get Pruitt disbarred. The Senator also contends Pruitt has given misleading answers, evasiveness and stonewalling to the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee.
