Judge’s Retirement Opens Door for Another Trump Court Appointee

In a move that will likely affect numerous environmental issues, including those having an impact on Oklahoma, Judge Janice Rogers Brown of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit has announced her retirement.

It opens the door for President Trump to appoint someone who is friendly to his environmental policies. Brown has been a consistent conservative voice on the court and last week was the only dissenting opinion in a ruling preventing the EPA from delaying Obama-era methane emissions.
