Oklahoma Oil and Gas Expo to Be Expanded in October

The Oklahoma Oil and Gas Expo planned for October in Oklahoma City will be expanded, according to Sustaining Oklahoma’s Energy Resources, a program under the Oklahoma Energy Resources Board.

The new Bennett Event Center at the Oklahoma State Fair Park will be the site of the 21st annual Expo on October 31. The center is 201,000 square feet in size and will allow 350 indoor exhibits and activities to be held.

“We are thrilled to be able to use the new state-of-the-art Bennett Event Center this year,” said Mindy Stitt, OERB Executive Director. “The opportunity to have everything in the same building is a great benefit for both our exhibitors and attendees.”

The Expo is considered the largest event of its kind in Oklahoma and is the only one organized and hosted by local industry volunteers. More than 3,500 attendees gather at the expo each year to network, learn and make connections and have a complimentary Head Country BBQ lunch.

In addition, SOER is hosting its first OK Oil and Gas Expo Golf Tournament to be held at Lincoln Park Golf Course Oct. 11, 2017.

“We decided to add the golf tournament this year as an additional way for sponsors and attendees to network with fellow oil and natural gas industry professionals,” explained Stitt.

Sponsorship registration has opened and booth spaces are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis.
